The most recent guest speaker was Diana Sanchez. Ms. Sanchez was from the career center at Cal State San Marcos. She gave the students in the single subject teaching credential program. Ms. Sanchez explained key facts about applying for a job as a teacher. These include a resume building, references and letters of recommendation, and key information about building a cover letter. All the information discussed is key to building a solid a resume for applying for jobs. Additionally assignment if we would have was to write a cover letter for the Del Lago academy principle Keith Nuthall. A lot of the information was discussed was very essential for all students present. I learned that replying for a position the school that in order to set yourself apart from your applicants want and not only apply for and Chile or the district but also some it’s a resume or highlighted carved caves that describes herself to the school which you are applying so that they can pull your resume aside and how your name in mind when reviewing applicants. Furthermore, I found out that I need to be more proactive in getting all of my resume materials put together.
